     I really like guns. No, I mean like really really like them. My favorite gun, of all that I own, is my very first one. It doesnt shoot the straightest, and it hasnt killed any animals, but this little Winchester 62A has so many miles and memories on it that it makes it a clear cut favorites. Sure, my hand-built 10-22 looks good and shoots a .3" group at 75 yards, but it doesnt have the feel that the winchester has. My savage 99 with all its family history and animals killed and winters put through still doesnt have the same character that the winchester has. and the next closest favorite, a 1947 Springfield 12 gauge doesnt compare to all the good times, bad times, fun times, and sad times that the 62A has been with me for. I know, its a strange thing to have reasons why a gun's your favorite or why you like it best, but lots of things go into why you look at different things in different ways, and thats just a small reason of why my favorite gun is what it is.
